The J. Cox Accounting Firm was established July 10, 1997 as a partnership between Joya Cox, Accountant and Clarabell Cox, Office Manager.

This partnership began with offering basic accounting and tax services. Gradually the J. Cox Accounting Firm grew over the years and more services were added until it became the full service accounting firm of today.

Joya Cox

An accountant and partner in the J. Cox Accounting Firm, Joya received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Business and Accounting in 1997. A graduate of Silver Lake College, Ms. Cox was a partner at Great Lakes Leather Products Company. From 1998 to 2001, Joya Cox was the treasurer and board member of Sheboygan County Historical Society. These positions provided a wealth of experience in accounting, manufacturing and non-profit organizations. Even with all this responsibility, Ms. Cox has continued her education with continued education credits from the National Association of Tax Practitioners and Proseries tax. Joya's special areas of interest are Quickbooks applications and tax preparation.
